At around 7:30 AM, we’ll leave behind the hustle and bustle of Saigon as you travel towards My Tho, a charming town situated on the banks of the Mekong River. Your first stop will be the beautiful Vinh Trang Pagoda, a historic landmark dating back to the late 19th century.

Board a traditional sampan boat and embark on a peaceful cruise along the river, navigating around the famed Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise islands. At Unicorn Island, you’ll have the chance to wander along picturesque country lanes, visit tropical fruit orchards, and enjoy folk music performed by locals. A stop at the honey bee farm offers a taste of honey tea, and you’ll also see how coconut candy is made at a local workshop.

After a hearty lunch at a local restaurant, the adventure continues with a serene hand-rowed sampan ride through the Thoi Son canal, surrounded by the tranquil beauty of the countryside. Depending on your flight time, you’ll have some free time to explore the city at your own pace, pick up some last-minute souvenirs, or simply relax before your journey home.
